Job Description

Due to significant growth in entertainment venues, we are now looking to recruit experienced Field Technical Manager (Refrigeration) you will attend customer sites on a national basis, you will also liaise and help manage customer queries and escalations in support of the Operations Manager.

Your Role:

  • Carry out assessments of the ability and competencies of the Refrigeration Engineer team and establish gap analysis to discuss with the relevant FOM.
  • Create and deliver training plans to ensure all engineers perform at the same high level expectation of the company.
  • Ensure the Company complies with all F-Gas regulation.
  • Review and propose Engineer tooling requirements.
  • Carry out Post PPM service and Reactive job audits to ensure the standard of work meets the Company expectations.
  • Attend Customer sites to review ongoing and re-occurring issues with Refrigeration equipment.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work without supervision and provide a pro-active support function, highlighting areas of concern before they become an issue.
  • Assist in the recruitment programme of all Refrigeration engineers.
  • Comply with company Health and Safety policies, notifying your line Manager/Region FOM and H&S of any near/non-compliance or any other concerns.

  • Ability to work positively within the team and to help turn ideas into action.
  • Ability to calmly deal with pressure within a demanding SLA driven business.
  • High level of understanding on company processes and procedures.
  • Flexibility in working hours and types of jobs undertaken.
  • High degree of mobility – travelling nationwide and staying away from home on occasions.
  • Possess a good Knowledge of technical and Field Services Management.
  • Self-motivated, highly skilled communicator with strong commercial and customer service focus.
  • Excellent “people skills” for building relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills who seeks to find alternative solutions.
